Senior Designer - 6-9 Month Contract

Are you a highly creative and experienced Books Designer with expertise in page design, typography and picture layouts? Our client, a respected London based publisher of fine bound books is looking for a Senior Designer on a contract for 6-9 months starting early April this year. This role is to oversee the creation and maintenance of beautiful books and requires exceptional communication and liaison skills.

Main responsibilities in the role are:

·Overseeing and being lead designer on all books through creative process
·Manage, mentor and commission freelance designers
·Quality control and ensuring schedules
·Liaise and communication across departments
·Responsible for Limited Editions
·Following and ensuring high quality brand guidelines

This is an amazing Senior Designer opportunity working for a renowned list of high quality, beautiful books. This is a hands-on role so you will need to be proficient in Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat, have excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
