Senior Designer (Children's)

Are you an experienced book cover and children’s book Designer? We have a 9-month Senior Designer opportunity with a leading Children’s book publisher.  You will ensure the projects are delivered on time and to budget.

Key duties:

• Design allocated projects in consultation with illustrators, authors and editors
• Compile design brief and work within budget
• Allocate work with external suppliers and freelances
• Prepare projects accurately for print and reprographic
• Work to company technical standards to keep files organised

Experience / skills required:

• Confident communicator with a passion and enthusiasm for Children’s books
• Excellent knowledge with InDesign and Photoshop
• Work knowledge of Illustrator will be a plus
• Proven experience in book design across all areas
• Ability to manage multiple projects
