Our client, a leading publisher of healthcare books and journals based in Central London are looking for a Senior Editorial Assistant to join them on a 12 month fixed term contract, with the possibility to be a permanent role.
Joining at a key time for the organisation, you will be working closely with the Managing Director on their programme of books, (both print and online), as well as supporting with the development of online training courses.
Key features of this role include:
- Managing relationships with authors and suppliers to manage schedules
- Supporting with the commissioning and development and review of new title ideas and content for online courses
- Working with editors to develop high quality manuscripts and managing the final review process
The ideal candidate will have experience working within an editorial team, demonstrable experience managing multiple projects and building author relationships.
