Senior Events and Sponsorship Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Events and Sponsorship Manager to join an open access publisher based in Switzerland. You will have a proven track record of creating, delivering and implementing innovative event programs.

Key duties:

• Oversee all program management, manage and support the Events Team
• Develop key projects and plans, including program goals, budget management and scope assessment
• Oversee program management and support the events team
• Work closely with key stakeholders and find new sponsorship opportunities
• Establish and build long-term strategic relationships with sponsors and partners
• Coordinate with internal teams on promotional material and initiatives

Experience / skills required:

• Previous event management and event marketing experience
• A strong understanding of brand and communications and the role of sponsorship
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of commercial contracts
• Experience within the scientific or medical sector would be advantageous
• Fluent English speaker or business level proficiency
