Senior Events Marketing Executive

Due to rapid growth, a leading media and events company is looking to recruit an ambitious and highly motivated Senior Events Marketing Executive to join their successful events team. .  The role offers a fast paced and dynamic environment, where you will be working on market leading awards and conferences and would suit an experienced events/conferences professional looking for the next step.

This exciting events role will be responsible for driving volume and revenue growth as well as creating lead generation through multi-media direct marketing campaigns. 

Key responsibilities will include but are not restricted to:

• Supporting the Events Marketing Manager to deliver a world-class, brand enhancing marketing communication programme for the company’s events
• Contribute to the planning and implementation of email campaigns
• Project manage and produce event material and brochures by creating project plans, liaising with logistics and editorial teams, working with design and print vendors, and delivering to schedule and within budget
• Write, implement and manage promotional copy for brochures, letters, leaflets, adverts, online and media packs to agreed deadlines/budgets, and to measure effectiveness
• Build and maintain event websites, optimise enquiries, bookings and traffic, and work with the Digital Marketing team to ensure sites are SEO optimised

This role will involve managing a large workload but will be working within a supportive and nurturing team.

The successful person will have:

• Proven solid experience in an events/conferences marketing role from a B2B or B2C background, preferably publishing or media
• A high level of copywriting and proofreading skills
• The ability to prioritise multiple projects whilst meeting deadlines
• The ability to interpret statistics
• A creative mindset with an eye for design
• Great analytical skills, with high attention to detail and the ability to spot trends and gain insights from raw data
