Senior International Sales Executive

Our client, a highly prestigious non-fiction book publisher, is offering a fantastic and varied vacancy of a Senior International Sales Executive. The role will be primarily responsible for building and handling strong customer relationships with the company's key sales and distribution partners. The role is permanent, full-time and offers hybrid working (3 days a week in the London office).

The role's responsibilities will be (amongst others):

  • Managing and corresponding with customers in various EU territories
  • Engaging with assigned territories to develop commercially successful business opportunities
  • Working with sales agents in areas such as South Africa and India
  • Conducting market research on non-traditional channels
  • Working closely with the company's distribution company in France

You will ideally be a trade publishing sales professional with experience in international sales or UK sales with excellent interpersonal and account management skills, possessing a strong record of building great customer relationships and contacts. You will also have a sense for achieving sales objectives and can navigate IT systems and data easily. You will have great time management and be a skilled communicator, working with freelancers regularly. Knowledge of international markets and a European language will also be highly beneficial for this role.
