Senior International Sales Manager - Trade Books

We have a super new role for a Senior International Sales Manager with an award-winning London based trade publisher. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take their next step in international sales, working with a fantastic range of books and working with a highly prestigious list.

This is a truly international role where you will have the opportunity to manage all customer relationships and maximise sales, selling new titles and maintaining and strategizing backlist sales. You will also manage the budget process for a specific list and work with colleagues in the international sales team to achieve budgeted sales.

Other responsibilities will include line managing an international sales executive and reviewing regional distribution and sales strategy, managing trading terms and working with the International Sales Director to organise promotional and marketing activity and planning sales visits, attending book fairs and other trade events. You will also deputise for the Internal Sales Director when required. Our client offers a hybrid working arrangement.

This role will involve travel; therefore, the successful person needs to have the flexibility to travel, possibly up to 8-9 weeks a year.
