Senior Marketing Executive

Our client, a highly reputable professional publisher is looking for a Senior Marketing Executive working across a portfolio of business books. This is a varied role in a small department that will give the successful candidate the opportunity to work across the full marketing mix and make a real difference.

The role will work in the London office on a hybrid basis 3 days a week Monday - Wednesday, they have excellent benefits including: 25 days paid holiday + the days between xmas and new year; life assurance; employee assistance programme; pension scheme and cycle to work scheme.

The Senior Marketing Executive will be responsible for a high-profile portfolio of titles, responsible for creating and executing promotional marketing campaigns and promotions that are aligned to the market. A big part of your role will be to immerse yourself within this market, understanding key trends, conducting market research, identifying key competitors and their products to develop the best marketing campaign as well as input into the marketing strategy for the list. You will manage author relationships directly, building trust and engaging at every stage of the publishing process to ensure a tailored marketing approach.

The successful candidate will have proven experience of delivering sales driven marketing campaigns with a strong focus on digital marketing campaigns and engaging professional communities via email campaigns and social media. You will be confident developing relationships with authors and stakeholders and have superb communication skills, both written and verbal.
