Senior Marketing Executive

A very exciting opportunity has arisen in the Marketing department of an innovative Educational Publisher who are looking to appoint a Senior Marketing Executive. The position offers hybrid working (3 days in the company's central London, Oxford or Bristol offices & 2 days working from home), amongst a creative and dynamic working environment offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

The Senior Marketing Executive will join the friendly and supportive educational marketing team with varied responsibilities covering the Primary schools and assessment market. Your main remit will be to devise, implement and report on marketing campaigns for a range of education titles and products, including both print and digital. Key responsibilities include:

  • Plan, design and execute marketing campaigns across all channels, which directly drive sales.
  • Ensure all campaigns are fully tagged and trackable, analyse and report on results against sales targets and KPIs.
  • Generate high quality sales leads through on and offline activity including direct mail, PPC, Paid Social and organic search in SEO.
  • Undertake regular market research through surveys, online and face-to-face focus groups and use insights to influence strategy, product development and marketing plans.
  • Utilise a CRM system to identify target market opportunity, purchasing and market trends, key market segments and stakeholders.
  • Build relationships with key customers to generate high quality written and video case studies and impact studies to showcase the education resources in action.

The successful Senior Marketing Executive will have worked in a busy marketing department and should be able to demonstrate ownership and campaign success. Previous experience marketing to schools and/or an understanding of tests and assessment in an education setting is a bonus but not essential. The Senior Marketing Executive will ideally have a good understanding of the full marketing mix, have a proactive and can-do attitude and should be able to easily multi-task. With a broad mix of marketing skills, the successful Senior Marketing Executive will possess strong communication (verbal and written) and take a collaborative approach.
