Senior Marketing Executive

Our client, a highly reputable business publisher is looking for a Senior Marketing Executive to market their titles focussing on the Banking and Finance, Supply Chain and Logistics and Compliance lists. These are areas of growth for the business and it is an exciting time to be working with this portfolio.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing joint, integrated sales and marketing strategies for the list
• Taking ownership with your editor of the sales performance of the list
• Working closely with all authors to identify sales opportunities and support promotional activity
• At proposal stage, engaging with the product and providing input into the publishing strategy
• Coordinating and attending conferences, book launches and other events as necessary
• Carrying out market research to better understand the needs of our target audiences
• Utilising all channels including direct mail, email, social media, search, associations and publicity
• Creating sales tools and presenting new titles to sales representatives
• Proactively developing knowledge of key competitors, their products, forthcoming products and sales and marketing activity

The successful candidate will have marketing experience ideally from a B2B or business publishing environment. You will have experience of delivering sales driven marketing campaigns, digital marketing including SEO, key metrics analysis and marketing budget management. You will be confident developing relationships with media partners and have an excellent telephone manner.
