An exciting Senior Marketing Manager FTC has become available in the Open Access team of a prestigious international publisher of academic books and journals. Managing a small team of marketing professional, you will also be leading the implementation of creative marketing strategies for Open Access journals, as well as leading on new projects and initiatives to support the wider OA team objectives.
This is an initial 12 months contract (with potential to be extended) offering hybrid working with ca. 1 day a week in the London office.
- Managing a number of direct reports, facilitating their performance and professional development
- Leading the marketing strategy for a portfolio of OA journals both at product and discipline level
- Implementing creative marketing campaigns with a customer-focused approach, utilising a range of channels (ie. social media, digital advertising, academic conferences, print ads, email) to engage with customers at multiple touchpoints
- Putting together new digital marketing plans to encourage manuscript submission and usage
This is an amazing opportunity for a B2C marketing specialist, who will enjoy stepping into a team manager role and demonstrate ability to develop staff and use analytics to inform marketing strategies.
