Senior Marketing Manager

Are you an experienced Marketing Manager with success working on children’s books? We have a fab opening with a bestselling children’s publisher in central London. You will manage a team of 2 and manage marketing campaigns for key titles and authors.

Key duties:

  • Develop marketing campaigns for key titles across picture books, non-fiction, fiction and YA lists
  • Manage a team of 2 junior colleagues
  • Manage marketing budgets
  • Develop new marketing partnerships to promote the brand and authors
  • Collaborate with internal editors and publicity colleagues
  • Communicate marketing activities to internal stakeholders
  • Attend editorial meetings and assist with acquisition pitches
  • Stay informed of new trends and opportunities in the children’s book market

Experience / skills required:

  • Marketing experience in children’s book publishing is essential
  • Experience using the full marketing mix, including digital advertising, direct mail, catalogues and promotions
  • Strong digital marketing knowledge, including social media, email and SEO
  • Team management and budget management experience
