Senior Press Officer (Children's)

 

Our client, a world-leading publisher based in London, is looking to appoint a Senior Press Officer to plan creative publicity campaigns works across children's and YA titles.

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for a PR professional with a strong passion for children's books looking to step up in their career or gain more experience at this level in a fantastic publishing environment.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Managing publicity campaigns of children's titles, across different forms of media
  • Organising school tours and author events, such as signings, festivals and other sales-driving experiences
  • Maintaining and developing a network of media contacts through effective research of the marketplace and literary events

 

The ideal candidate will be confident, enthusiastic and able to communicate effectively both internally and externally. You will be able to manage multiple projects and adapt to new challenges Some experience of working with high profile authors is preferable. This is a dream publicity role and would suit someone who already has a proven network within the publishing or entertainment sphere.
