Senior Publicity Manager (trade books), London

A unique career opportunity has arisen with the award-winning London based independent publishers for a Senior Publicity Manager to head up their PR for adult & childrens books.

There is the genuine opportunity to step up to the Head of Publicity role within just 6-12 months for the person who performs well as Senior Publicity Manager.

We welcome all applicants at PR Manager level or equiv and above if you regularly run your own campaigns, importantly you’ll have at least 5 years PR experience with lots of enthusiasm and drive for PR and want to head up a small but busy publicity dept across non-fiction adult and children’s imprints. You will report to the sales and marketing director.

You’ll need to be a creative PR person, well organised, able to budget, able to set the PR strategy, have the right experience creating, organising and delivering impactful high-profile PR campaigns for mass market non–fiction books.

If you have built up good skills and experience at organising author tours, signings and experience delivering great author care then this opportunity could be for you. As a self-starter, you will thrive in a unique busy independent publishing environment and enjoy developing and building author profiles and brands.

There is a very good competitive salary for this post, depending of course on the level of experience you bring to the role and you’ll be based in London within reach of mainline BR and tube lines.

If this opportunity feels like it could be for you let us know today and we’ll send you the full details.

Please email Greg Evaristo in confidence at greg@gregorymartin.org ...remember to send your; CV, Salary, short introduction note, thanks!
