Senior Publisher

Are you an experienced Senior Product Manager/Publisher who is passionate about primary education? Do you want to be involved in shaping the strategy for Primary products and leading and developing a team? A prestigious educational publisher is looking for a proactive and skilled Senior Publisher to join their management team, leading on the delivery of projects for Primary literacy materials.

Based in Oxford ideally (or London), you will be responsible for the day to day management and future development of a leading Primary reading scheme, as well as research, develop and deliver new projects in Primary literacy from start to finish. In this role you will be an entrepreneur within a large business, and your innovative, fast thinking and proactive approach to opportunities will shine through.

You need to be skilled in thinking strategically, have sound print and digital publishing experience and excellent communication skills. Your commercial and financial planning will be demonstrably strong and you will be able to manage people effectively. A background in Primary teaching is desirable but not a must, and Educational Publishing experience at any level is essential.
