Senior Publisher
One of our international scholarly publishing clients is growing their APAC team and is looking to appoint a Senior Publisher for their Beijing office; this role will be looking after the day to day management of a portfolio of STM journals, as well as the direct line management of an editorial team and the allocation of budget and resources.
As the new Senior Publisher, you will have responsibility of a team of 5 colleagues, and work to endure each journal in the portfolio is resourced and developed appropriately. This will include developing individual commercial plans for the journals, monitoring their financial performance, and implement commissioning strategies to grow the portfolio in line with company objectives.
You will also work in conjunction with other Senior Publishers and Associate Directors to delivery key publishing development projects .
This is an exciting step up for a journals editor with a strong physical scientific background (preferably at Msc or PhD level), and who is looking to take on more team management, financial management and portfolio strategy responsibilities.
