Senior Publishing Executive

If you are a first class digital publishing expert with sound project management skills, strong experience in stakeholder management and an interest in managing publishing relationships then we have a great opportunity for you. Our client is a professional membership organisation who publish a range of products including the website, e-newsletters, magazines and newsletters providing advice and legislation information for professionals in the finance profession. They are now looking for a Senior Publishing Executive to join their busy team, based in London on a 12 month FTC.

Reporting in to the Publishing Manager, as Senior Publishing Executive you will be responsible for managing the transition to a digital-first publishing model for their magazine portfolio and learning materials. You will also manage publishing relationships with existing and potential partners, suppliers and content licensor's by:

  • Project Management of change programmes
  • Daily account management of existing publishing relationships
  • Approving content created by external publishing partners
  • Internal & external stakeholder management

The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of both print and digital publishing processes with a good knowledge of magazine, textbook or qualifications publishing. You will need to be a strong communicator and highly organised along with good project management skills and a flexible can-do attitude.
