Senior Rights Manager

Are you a Senior Rights candidate and China expert looking for a new challenge? A brand new publisher based in West London is looking for a Senior Rights Manager to join their team.

This is a key strategic role for the company and offers excellent opportunities for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will have extensive rights experience in the UK or European market, as well as a deep understanding of the Chinese trade publishing scene and Chinese culture in general. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales in the UK and European markets, ensuring targets are met. Using your market knowledge, you will manage and build upon existing relationships and proactively seek out new customer opportunities to maximise sales.

The successful candidate will have proven experience of selling rights and co-editions in a publishing environment with first-class negotiation and customer relationships building skills. Languages are not essential but fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) would be a plus.
