SEO Manager - Trade Books

Are you an experienced SEO professional with strong knowledge of on and off-page SEO techniques and strategies? We have a fabulous new role with an award-winning London based publishing organisation for an SEO Manager. This role will plan, manage and report on an innovative and flexible SEO strategy that supports the company. An interesting, varied role, you will write and commission engaging consumer-facing content that supports the company’s SEO goals, with a particular focus on supporting their brand authors and key genres. Our client offers a hybrid working arrangement of 2-3 days a week in the office.

Some of they key responsibilities of this exciting new role will include:

  • Planning and managing an SEO content schedule that drives the SEO strategy, promotes traffic growth and supports the publishing
  • Writing great SEO copy across articles and wider website pages
  • Conducting in-depth analysis across several platforms including Google Analytics, Google Search Console and other platforms
  • Performing keyword research and competitor analysis
  • Conducting technical SEO and content audits to highlight opportunities for traffic and engagement growth

Other responsibilities will involve planning and administering reports for the website via Google Data Studio, and where necessary commission audience-first original data content.

This is a key role in the team and the successful person will have a good knowledge of on and off-page SEO techniques. This is essential as is a working knowledge of digitasl and content marketing. You will have great copywriting skills and an understanding of different types of digitasl content and their function within digital marketing. Excellent data analysis skills are essential, and also experience of using digital analytics platforms for websites, plus the ability to use a variety of CMS platforms.
