Service Delivery Manager

There's a new fully remote role in the Solutions team of a leading academic publisher.

This team is responsible for the management and efficiency of the global peer review, production and supplier base, working across the books, journals and case studies portfolio.

They are a very flexible employer, happy to consider fully home-based candidates (within the UK) and review working hours and specific arrangements based on the needs of their staff.

The new Service Delivery Manager will be responsible for:

• Managing operations and relationships with suppliers, setting KPIs and overseeing their performance
• Delivering a programme of operational projects to improve workflows and technology
• Working with product leads for books, journals and other content to translate product need into operational and strategic actions
• Managing international supplier teams, coordinating workloads and assigning priorities

This is a very flexible role and will suit someone with an agile mindset and in-depth knowledge of publishing operations environments and strong analytical skills. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with global teams and external suppliers, and of bringing in real change by embracing new technology and streamlining production processes.
