The Job Profile

Simon & Schuster UK’s Finance team is looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Receivable assistant to join and support the Finance team.

The Job Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will act as the first point of call for all accounts receivable administration.  You will be responsible for raising co-edition sales and sub-rights invoices, allocating cash received, reconciling accounts, and chasing for outstanding debt, as well as any other ad hoc tasks that arise.

The Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, a keen eye for detail, ability to work to deadlines, and impeccable organisational skills. The individual will be a proactive and self-motivated team player who is confident, professional and conscientious. Good grounding of administration is essential and able to work in an office environment. Previous experience in an administrative role is desirable, with experience of Microsoft 365 applications and good IT skills.
