We are looking for an enthusiastic Finance Assistant to join our Finance team. You will be an integral part of the Simon & Schuster UK Finance team, supporting the Financial Accountant and Financial Controller with administration and reconciliation of key accounting areas.
Reporting to the Financial Controller and supported by the Financial Accountant, this role will be responsible for ensuring completeness, efficiency and accuracy of financial records for employee expenses, banking, marketing costs, stock receipts and digital revenue. As the key contact for the immediate Finance team for relevant accounting areas; for the wider business concerning employee expenses; for the editorial and publicity teams concerning marketing costs; for our distributor and the Simon & Schuster UK sales team concerning marketing deductions.
You will have a good understanding of accounting processes; be hard working, intuitive and adaptable; be a team player, personable and dynamic; have very good working knowledge of Excel and excellent administration skills along with good attention to detail, time management and organisational skills.
