About the Adult Non-Fiction Division 
We are a busy editorial team, dedicated to publishing bestselling non-fiction. We currently publish across two imprints: our flagship imprint S&S, whose authors include Walter Isaacson, Hillary Clinton, Bob Dylan, Professor Alice Roberts, John Nichol, Michael Holding and a range of serious non-fiction; and Gallery, our quality commercial imprint which launched in the UK in 2021 and is home to bestselling names like Bob Mortimer, Britney Spears, Richard E. Grant, Patrick Stewart and Jess Phillips MP.

About the role
This role is a strategic senior appointment to take the Gallery list into the lifestyle space, with both illustrated and mono titles. Working closely with the Publishing Director, they will also play a key role in driving our strategy, and they will manage the commissioners on the Gallery list.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire and publish bestselling lifestyle titles.
  • Help drive growth with new publishing.
  • Collaborate on drawing up and driving strategy for the imprint.
  • Manage commissioners on the Gallery list.

Experience (essential)

  • Must have a proven track record for acquiring and publishing bestselling non-fiction.
  • Must acquire a deep understanding of the lifestyle market.

Starting salary from £65k
