Key Account Managers

Contract: Permanent, full time
Salary: Up to £30,000 (depending on experience)
We have two new opportunities for Key Account Managers to work within the SPCK Group Sales team to focus on winning, retaining and developing partnerships with B2B customers and suppliers, delivering excellent sales representation for us and our Client Publishers and being responsible for driving target-based sales revenues.
You will own the development and implementation of all aspects of your partnerships delivering compelling customer presentations and working in conjunction with colleagues from the wider SPCK Group to drive sales growth. Using your in-depth knowledge and experience of strategic account management, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial partnerships and development of initiatives that drive SPCK Group’s market position and profitability.
To be considered for these roles you must have proven experience of working in either a strategic account manager or business development role, preferably from within the publishing industry. You will also enjoy conducting sales presentations, often online as our reach expands globally. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to influence at all levels, together with flexibility to attend meetings internally and externally. The ability to produce and interpret sales reports and identify trends and opportunities is essential, as is competence in Microsoft Office applications and social media channels.

Due to the nature of SPCK Group publications and the importance of being able to connect our books with buyers within the Christian market. This role has a Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR) to be a practicing Christian in communion with a Christian community whose statement of faith aligns with the Nicene Creed. The post holder must be ready to work with individuals, organisations, and publications of all types of churchmanship and none. (Schedule 9, part 1of the Equality Act 2010 applies).
