Strategic Marketing Manager

We are working with a fantastic publisher of digital archives, learning and research resources for the academic market, who are hiring for a Strategic Marketing Manager for their team.

In this role, you will devise and implement product and brand strategies across all EMEA territories and take ownership of the EMEA marketing strategy.

This company is based in Hampshire, but happy to consider hybrid and remote working for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing end-to-end marketing activities for a portfolio of digital resources, including initial proposition, messaging, execution and regional localisation
  • Collaborating with a global marketing team to develop messaging strategies worldwide
  • Leading the marketing strategy for digital archives, aiming to drive revenue for both frontlist and backlist programmes
  • Supporting the sales team with pre and post-sales marketing and promotional activities
  • Putting together cohesive marketing plans for target audiences (faculty and academic libraries) that include optimised web pages, multi-touch emails, social media, digital events, and other collateral
  • Liaising closely with Design colleagues and freelancers to create graphic materials and marketing tools

This role will suit someone coming from a Product Marketing or Product Management role, looking to develop into a strategic and creative marketing role. The post requires solid knowledge of executing B2B marketing plans, strong digital marketing skills, and a good understanding of the academic and/or library market.
