A leading Educational publisher is looking to appoint an experienced Strategic Marketing Manager to join the Higher Education marketing team, working at least one day a week in our client's Hampshire office. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and implementing product marketing strategies and campaign plans, managing two of the businesses flagship products (print and digital) for the EMEA region, working alongside a supportive and collaborative team. This is a busy department, the role is both proactive and reactive, so will require great prioritisation skills.
Aside from prior experience of devising, planning and implementing strategic marketing plans for a product portfolio, to be successful in this role, the Marketing Manager will ideally have worked in the educational publishing industry or business information sector, working to support sales teams. You will have a good understanding of sales drivers, product positioning, and pricing strategies. The ideal Strategic Marketing Manager will have excellent presentation and copy-writing skills along side strong communication. Additionally, you will be goal-orientated and highly motivated.
