Strategic Marketing Manager Academic

Our client, a leading Professional membership body is looking for Strategic Marketing Manager to grow membership and engagement within the library and research academic community. This is a fixed term contract until October 2022 working on a hybrid pattern, working 2/3 days in the office and the remainder from home.

The Strategic Marketing Manager is a critical role, responsible for collaborating with stakeholders across the business in product, service, research, sales and marketing to develop and implement a marketing strategy which will articulate the needs of librarians and researchers to input into the product and service development. Taking into account market research and industry trends, the Strategic Marketing Manager will utilise this insight to create and execute multi-channel go to market strategies.

The successful candidate will have experience in developing market strategy using market research and insight, as well as experience of product or programme management. Strong stakeholder management skills are essential, as well as the ability to build influential relationships at all levels. This is an amazing opportunity to drive a strategic marketing strategy that will impact the academic and research community to help this organisation to deliver the most effective products and services available.
