Supply Chain Assistant - (apprenticeship)

This is a unique and exciting work/study opportunity for an ambitious entry-level candidate! We are looking for an ambitious candidate looking to up-skill and take on an apprenticeship within a Supply Chain role. This role is suited to someone with excellent attention to detail, who is numerate and comes with experience of working with MS Excel. In return, the successful candidate has the option of being enrolled to a Supply Chain degree apprenticeship at the local university.

Our client is a Yorkshire-based publishing services company, managing the commercial and data sides of things for academic, scientific and business publishers. Their work is crucial to the continued growth and success of a range of publishers and every detail counts!

This Supply Chain Assistant will support the data team and be responsible for tracking stock and sales and by keeping everything absolutely perfectly up to date in the database, you will ensure timely delivery for the clients.

For this role, you don't need to have publishing experience necessarily but an interest in the Books World would be great. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn and develop within the publishing industry through your long-term investment in the role and organisation.
