We are looking to hire a production professional who's role it is to ensure all suppliers are compliant with a sustainable and ethical supply chain mandate. The role is based at one of the largest trade publishing business's and you will be surrounded by incredible books and content products!
Ideally you will be coming from a production background in publishing but if you have been working in production and have a keen interest and can demonstrate a proactive track record in managing suppliers and supply chain we would be keen to hear from you.
In this role you will work within the production department to manage supplier compliance and tenders. You will also analyse the pricing and spend.
Reporting into the Director of the department, the role requires someone who can present and analyse findings easily at regular meetings. You will be responsible for managing all compliance with suppliers to ensure that the business is only working with sustainable, ethical suppliers.
You will complete regular audits across the year to ensure that the business is adhering with FSC guidelines as well as global code of conduct, ethical supply chain, modern slavery report amongst others as required relating to supply chain.
The successful candidate will be knowledgeable and passionate about production and ethical supply chain management.
