Teacher Trainer

A leader in educational publishing with digital programs across all school subject areas, and levels, is seeking a Teacher Trainer (Curriculum Specialist Trainer) to join their Professional Development team based in their London office.

The main remit of the Teacher Trainer will be to demonstrate and outline to educators and school stakeholders how and why their products can help them succeed in the classroom. Specifically, responsibilities include:

·Deliver product presentations to school and library prospects. These presentations will be via online webinars or in-person.
·Create content connecting resources to the curriculum, the daily work of educators, including lesson plans, collections, public webinars and conference presentations.
·Respond to pedagogical customer product questions, in collaboration with the Sales Representatives.
·Support Sales Representatives in their understanding of how the product portfolio connects to and supports educators and students on a day to day basis.
·Assist Professional Development team with customer requests for customised implementations and customer training efforts that require a curriculum-focus.
·Record feedback and recommendations to improve product offering and feedback into the business.
·Delivery of customised training
·Supporting the production of collateral materials (printable "how-tos", powerpoints, video tutorials, etc.)
·Develop lesson plans, activities, and resources to support educational trends, curriculum, and best practices

This is a varied and rewarding role that would suit a qualified Teacher with experience in Primary or Secondary Education. Experience as a classroom teacher, utilising technology is strongly preferred. Knowledge of educational technology (i.e., integrated search systems, library automation systems, and interactive whiteboards), computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and a willingness to learn and teach others are also important. The ideal candidate will be an engaging presenter, able to facilitate groups of educators at all levels and confident communicating through use of educational vocabulary. Familiarity with curriculum standards and multiple types of assessments are also required.
