Technical Customer Account Manager

Our client, an international provider of software and services to the information and publishing industry, is seeking a self motivated, top class Account Manager for their Oxford office. You will have demonstrable experience of problem solving as well as excellent analytical skills and will quickly establish strong working relationships with customers. The successful candidate will become the "go to" resource and primary point of contact within the company and will be a creative and hard-working individual.

The ideal applicant will be educated to degree level or equivalent and be able to demonstrate strong project management and publishing experience, preferably from a production background. You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a history of building and owning relationships with stakeholders and the ability to learn new products and technology quickly. Basic development experience and knowledge of XML would be an advantage and a background in online journal or book production would be a bonus. The ability to work with internal colleagues as well as independently will be important.
