Temp Desk Editor

Are you a superb, dynamic editor or assistant editor looking for your next challenge? A leading independent co-edition publisher of trade books is currently seeking a TEMP Desk Editor to join their growing London based team. You will be responsible for project managing your own titles from start to finish including briefing design, managing freelancers and liaising with US and UK publishing partners.

The ideal candidate will have outstanding editorial, organisational and communication skills as well as good commercial sense and the ability to manage multiple projects at any one time. You will have creative flair, must be able to work on your own initiative, and will have an international outlook and a keen eye for detail for the role.

Experience working on illustrated titles in areas such as lifestyle, fitness, gift and popular reference are required, as well strong knowledge using InDesign. Co-edition experience would also be advantageous.
