Temp Digital Copy-Writer / Publishing Officer

A charity publisher of print and digital resources (eBooks, apps and web content) is looking for a temporary Digital Copy-Writer / Publishing Officer. You will be writing copy, web testing, proofreading and tagging video and audio content as well as importing content across editorial, marketing and communications projects. This is a temp role to start immediately for 8 weeks with possible extensions, an interest in theology is highly desirable.

Key duties:

• Compiling, editing and checking copy primarily for digital publication
• Adding content to the new website
• Proof-reading new digital and print titles across a range of subject areas, including reference, worship and educational resources.
• Basic testing of website or apps as required.
• Inputting content accurately onto systems
• Assisting with the checking, input and tagging of video/audio content for web/app purposes.
• Administrative tasks associated with the above

Experience / skills required:

• Proven experience of publishing editorial content in a digital environment
• Experience of web editing/use of Content Management Systems
• Strong grasp of grammar, punctuation
• Able to work to multiple deadlines
• An interest in Theology is highly desirable
