Temp - Editorial Coordinator

Calling all Temps - Are you available immediately and looking to work for one of the biggest publishers in the world. We have a fantastic opportunity for an Editorial Coordinator for 3 months hybrid working within Central London.

The role requires some one who can hit the ground running with some working knowledge of editorial and admin duties. You will be reasonable for internal and external enquires along with invoicing and coding, managing meetings and producing reports.

You will be given the task of managing our clients freelancers and bookings as well as sending out proofs, proofreaders and indexing. The role will also require working alongside the editorial and design team advising on jackets /covers and managing all offsets and reprint titles through the editorial process.

Skills required :-

  • Close attention to detail, excellent grammar, articulacy and accuracy in all communication. (involves liaison with authors, agents and internal and external )
  • Copy-editing/proofreading (principally proofreading in the short term)
  • Understanding and knowledge of publishing (copy-editorial) processes
  • Administrative skill and efficiency
  • Technical knowledge of Word, Adobe, Excel, etc.
