Temp Managing Editor

Our client a highly reputable Charity in London, are looking for a Temporary Managing Editor to start immediately to assist with the completion of a new publication. Working towards the finished article, you will be tasked to manage the editorial and production work for the print and digital products.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Restructuring and re-writing
• Responsible for editing and tone of voice
• Working with stakeholders, authors and freelancers
• Commissioning
• Working towards set budget and delivery date
• Final quality control for print books and digital products
• Implementation of new process and workflows

The successful candidate will have proven experience in managing a publication from start to finish with an excellent knowledge of the professional publishing process. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, alongside project management skills.
