Temp Production Manager

Our client is an independent b2b media company producing a monthly magazine to the travel industry, aimed at business professionals. They are looking for an experienced magazine production professional to join them on a part-time, temporary basis starting on Thursday 18th July working 3 days a week until Wednesday 4th September. Based in Central London, you will be required to be in the office 2 of the 3 days a week.

Key responsibilities include:

• Flatplanning (InDesign)
• Copy chasing from Salesforce reports
• Making advert page PDFs (InDesign)
• Uploading PDF's to online flatplan (XMF Remote)
• Hosting digital adverts on the Affino platform
• Screenshots of new adverts on the website
• Setting up daily news alerts on the Affino platform
• Setting up partner emails on the Affino platform
• Liaising with the print management company, information for the monthly magazines

The successful candidate will cover for a period of leave over the summer, ensuring the issues of the monthly magazine go to print on time, to a very high standard. Experience with the duties listed above are essential, though the platforms (with the exception of InDesign), can be trained on the initial handover days. Experience working in the production team of a magazine is essential, as well as proven experience in working with InDesign. Any experience with 3rd party ad hosting services would be an advantage.

This role will start on Thursday 18th July and run until Wednesday 4th September working 3 days a week, you will attend the offices in Central London 2 days per week. The hourly rate for this role is £19.32 per hour + £2.32 in accrued holiday pay.
