Temp - Project Manager

Calling all TEMPS - we have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager, to help our award wining client to help them with an Office Relocation!

Are you an organised and a dynamic Project Manager looking for a temporary role? We have an exciting opportunity to manage the office relocation of two businesses into a new, combined space in Oxford. This position reports to the CFO and involves key relationships with an internal working group that meets every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 1pm. The ideal start date is 22nd of May, with an average working schedule of 7-15 hours per week over a duration of 6-8 weeks, until the office move is completed.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Layout Planning: Map out the new site, including desk positions, furniture needs, and IT requirements.
  • Vendor Management: Obtain quotes from office movers and manage the selected party.
  • Inventory & Investment: Conduct a full inventory of existing furniture and IT, listing required investments.
  • IT Infrastructure: Develop an IT plan, covering internet and AV setup in meeting rooms.
  • Furniture & Décor:
  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand requirements.
  • Obtain quotes and make recommendations.
  • Create and execute a detailed décor plan, coordinating with contractors as necessary.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal stakeholders through the internal working group.
  • Budget Management: Assist in building and adhering to a detailed budget.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project management, particularly in office relocation.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and vendors.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
