Temporary Digital Production Coordinator
Due to an exciting new project, our client – a leading international educational publisher – is looking for a talented Digital Production Coordinator to join their EMEA Production team based in North Hampshire. This is a contract to start ASAP until the end of December 2017. This role is commutable from London via either car or a one-hour train journey from Waterloo.
Key duties:
- Project-manage the production of eBooks and other digital product across HE, Vocational, ELT and Custom publishing lists
- Create ISBNs for digital products and maintain metadata in core systems
- Organize rights checks for digital product requests and arrange item redactions as necessary
- Source files and arranges digital conversion for a range of platforms
- Work closely with key stakeholders including Editorial, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Services
Experience / skills required:
- Experience in print/digital production within a publishing environment is required
- You must have excellent project management and organizational skills
- Excellent computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheet skills are required
- Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat PDF editing and internet fluency is highly desired
- The ability to handle large volume of repeated tasks with maintained focus is essential
- Some knowledge of Rights and Permissions in publishing is preferred
