Temporary Editorial Assistant

We are seeking an Editorial Assistant (temporary) to join a world renowned educational publisher for an initial 2 month period; this is a full-time temporary role offering hybrid/remote working (ideally 1 day per week spent in the company's Oxford office) and fantastic exposure to the publishing sector and solid experience working amongst the secondary science team of a prestigious brand producing high quality learning materials for the UK schools market.

The main remit of the temporary Editorial Assistant will be to carry out editorial work including metadata, content tagging, content descriptions, proofing, and alt-text to ensure the delivery of the secondary science and maths courses.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in STEM learning and education, good editorial skills and an eye for detail, along with excellent organisation and communication skills. If this sounds like you and you are available for an immediate start, then get in touch ASAP!
