Do you have experience organising and running professional events and are you available to start at short notice? We are looking for a Temporary Event Planner to join the conferencing team of one of our lovely society publishers in Central London.
Key responsibilities:
- Liaising with clients who wish to utilise the society as a venue and explaining the rooms layout, catering and bespoke tours options
- Briefing respective delivery teams for events and providing function sheets and timelines
- Maintaining a positive relationships with suppliers, catering staff and contractors
- Updating the internal conferencing booking systems wit accurate events details
The successful candidate will have:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Solid experience of working in the events industry
- Familiarity with room/venue booking systems
