Temporary Junior Marketing Executive

An exciting new Temporary Marketing role paying £14 per hour has become available in a creative and friendly team of an academic publisher in Cambridge. The assignment will likely start in January 2023 and last around 6 months, so this is a great opportunity for a publishing hopeful with some experience of marketing admin and social media to get stuck in a hands-on role. The client offers hybrid working with 1-2 days a week in Cambridge.

The Temp Junior Marketing Exec will provide day-to-day admin support on marketing campaigns for a large portfolio of journals in the Humanities and Social Sciences; they will help assigning tasks via scheduling tools, proofing copy for email campaigns, creating and scheduling social media posts, and handling requests from external editors and clients.

The ideal candidate will have some marketing experience in a publishing environment (preferably academic), strong copy writing and proofreading, and ideally some knowledge of Canva and Hootsuite.
