Temporary Production Controller

We have a fantastic TEMP opportunity for someone with Book Production experience to join a highly illustrated trade Publisher in Central London as a Production Controller for up to 3 months.

As a 4 colour Production Controller, you will join a busy and friendly team and be responsible for a large and diverse list from estimating to costing, purchase ordering, print monitoring and scheduling. You will be responsible for the production process from start to finish including repro and delivery. An essential part of this role is ensuring the business quality standards are adhered to at all times, with all necessary quality checks being carried out at all stages of the production process, and any problems rectified quickly and efficiently.

To be considered for the Production Controller role you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• Book Production
• 4 Colour
• Knowledge of indesign (Basic)
• The ability to work to tight deadlines
• Strong organisational skills
• Strong communication skills
• An eye for detail
• Teamwork skills
• a 'can-do' attitude especially when things get busy!

The successful candidate for this role will be driven and ambitious, able to think on their feet and have a creative and proactive approach. Someone who is process driven and able to work independently will be great for this role, as well as someone who is ambitious in wanting to help drive the organisation forward.
