Temporary Project Manager

A creative and innovative Educational Publishing organisation helping to develop print and digital education resources for teachers and learners around the globe is seeking a Project Manager to join their friendly, supportive team on a temporary basis. This role offers great flexibility and remote working with an immediate start, and is for an initial c. 3 month contract.

The temporary Project Manager will be an integral member of the project team responsible for delivering education projects of small to medium size and/or complexity to their educational publishing clients, and will have responsibility for organising and controlling project activities so as to deliver projects on budget and to schedule. The Project Manager will work collaboratively both internally and externally across the education projects, ensuring stakeholder needs are met right from project planning through to implementation and close. The Project Manager will come into contact with different project management methodologies and processes and be able to adapt to fully utilise their features to the benefit of the educational publishing client.

The ideal Project Manager will be an adaptable team-player with proven experience of managing education projects from inception to successful implementation, and will have excellent organisation and communication skills enabling them to work well with colleagues and clients, building strong stakeholder relationships. They will have a high level of numeracy and be an advanced user of Microsoft Office applications and Google equivalent, previous mentoring or supervisory experience would be highly beneficial, as would practitioner-level skills with multiple project management methodologies and tools (e.g. MS Project).
