Trainer - Digital Academic Resources

A brilliant opportunity has just come up to join the Digital Sales Team of a world-leading academic publisher! Our client is looking for a Trainer to support staff and international customers in their use of digital products, by designing and delivering bespoke training sessions both virtually and on-site.

Reporting into the European Sales Manager, this role will be responsible for:

  • Creating and delivering training strategies for UK and European customers across a range of digital products
  • Providing pre-sales support and collaborating with the Sales team on product presentations and training
  • Designing training material
  • Promoting training activity through various channels, such as social media
  • Providing training and product support on technical enquiries from customers
  • Acting as product expert with other departments

The position can be home-based in the UK, though this role will require some travelling to Europe for in-person training sessions and key industry events, and the successful candidate will be able to organise their own travelling accordingly.

We are looking for someone with some training experience, ideally from publishing or digital resources, and a good story-teller. You will be confident in your presentation techniques and ability to develop in-depth product knowledge in a short time. As this role will interact with many international clients, you should be able to communicate with people at all levels, and with non-native English speakers as well.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing global publisher, and make a real difference in helping library clients use new technologies!

For a full description of the role, please send your CV with a brief paragraph outlining your relevant skills.

Closing Date: Early applications may be prioritised.
