Training & Engagement Specialist

We are working with an established academic publisher as they look for a Training and Engagement specialist for their Library Sales team; this position will support EMEA customers make the most of the range of library products by delivering relevant training sessions.

This role can be home-based, with 1 day a week in the London office.

Key responsibilities:

• Creating and maintaining training materials for in-person and online training sessions
• Putting together and delivering tailored training to external library customers to improve product knowledge and experience
• Identifying customers training needs and reporting on outcome of training and evaluation
• Working with sales account managers and library consortia to identify training opportunities in order to maximise customer engagement and product usage
• Maintaining excellent product knowledge and communicating new developments and features to customers, updating training materials if necessary

This role will suit someone with great delivery skills, and the ability to explain concepts to different audiences with different leaning styles. You would ideally have some experience in putting together and delivering training sessions, and have an interest in the publishing and academic library environments.
