About the role
The role of the Managing Editor is to oversee and manage the editorial function for Trinity College London Press’ English Language publications. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the accuracy and quality of English Language publications, working to provide world-class, market-leading materials for print and online distribution whilst instilling Trinity’s core English language assessment values across all publications.
Working closely with the wider Press & Enterprises teams and our academic team, the Managing Editor for English Language will play a key role in steering the direction of Trinity’s English Language publishing portfolio in support of our world-renowned, prestigious English Language qualifications.
Several years of proven success in a similar role within English Language publishing would enable you to be successful in this role. We are interested to hear about your professional understanding of the English language publishing space as well as detailed knowledge of all aspects of editorial and production processes. The ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritising workload be vital in the role of Managing Editor. Project Management expertise and working knowledge of design software such as Adobe InDesign will be critical. This role would suit someone who is forward-thinking with an analytical eye and enjoys building out the publications portfolio to maximise on business results.
