UK Sales Director (Central London)

A long established and highly successful high-profile international publisher seeks a driven and very experienced UK Sales Director to take responsibility for all adult trade sales, childrens trade sales, special sales and some educational sales.

The UK Sales Director will manage and lead a broad team of experienced senior managers who in turn manage teams across the divisions. Your role will be varied and include a key role in all acquisitions, strategic sales planning, high level terms negotiations, overseeing supply chain management etc.

We believe this is a rare and unique opportunity for an ambitious sales leader to join a prestigious and well-known trade publishing group and develop your experience and career to the highest level working with a number of world renown book brands and authors.

We are looking for excellent sales candidates with a ‘high performing can do’ attitude, someone who is just as comfortable leading sales from the front (when necessary) as they are steering the strategic direction of group sales.  

Naturally, you’ll have a first class trade reputation and have the ability to work closely in a collegiate way with a number of high profile divisional directors from publishing, publicity, marketing, finance etc.

This role reports to the Group Managing Director and you’ll join a highly experienced senior management team.
