Trade Marketing Manager
Unbound is a publishing house for the modern age. Our direct-to-consumer crowdfunding model takes the best elements of the traditional publishing industry and combines them with the power of digital community. The Unbound digital platform brings together authors, editors and our readers to collaborate and communicate, allowing us to commission and publish uniquely creative and courageous books that break the mould, share important stories and put a dent in the universe.
We are hiring an experienced, skilled, and self-motivated Trade Marketing Manager to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of bestselling fiction and non-fiction. You will support the Sales Director and collaborate closely with editorial, PR, and social media teams.
Your primary responsibilities include developing and executing innovative and creative marketing campaigns for our lead titles, encompassing multiple channels such as social media, e-tailer, print, and outdoor advertising.
You will lead the campaign process from start to finish, managing schedules, planning, analysis, and reporting. Creating engaging content and conducting consumer and competitor research to recommend future marketing strategies will also be crucial. Your role will include working on bookseller engagement campaigns, both with indies and with e-tailer advertising and targeted assets.
Proven experience and success in a publishing marketing role is essential. You will also need the ability to work autonomously and prioritize effectively under pressure.
