Web and Multimedia Editor

Are you passionate about current affairs and international business? Our client based in London is looking for a talented and innovative Web & Multimedia Editor to join their future-focused publishing team. Our client is the global voice of the legal profession, publishing a range of journals, newsletters, books and e-products.

About you:

The successful candidate will have proven editorial experience ideally within a multimedia publishing environment as well as a strong web writing and editing skills. Proven experience of using film and podcast editing software, in particular Adobe Premiere Pro is desirable but not pre-requisite.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for their next step up in multimedia publishing, with the chance to manage your own projects to really make your mark on the role. Any experience with filming, and using After Effects, InDesign, Acrobat or Illustrator would be an advantage in applying for this role.

The Role:

Working with a suite of multimedia products the Web & Multimedia Editor will take the lead on editing and uploading content across text, film and audio for the website as well as overseeing their social media accounts. Key responsibilities will include: copy editing, proofreading and summarising content for the website; editorial responsibility for content related web pages; liaison with committee representatives who contribute to the website; editing and uploading film for use across the website using Adobe software; editing podcasts and audio clips; and overseeing social media presence on Twitter and Facebook.
