Web Developer

We have a great opportunity for a Web Developer to join the team of a lovely independent children's publisher. This role would be supporting the Head of Digital Development, and assist with the design and development of in-house systems and web products. They are based in Suffolk but open to some remote-working so this could be fantastic opportunity to join a growing team and make a real impact on the company digital strategy.

Key aspects of the role:

• Assisting with the design and implementation of IT systems, online-based products and publishing databases
• Working closely with the rest of the team to meet project goals and understand the team's requirements
• Processing IT requests
• Assisting with the configuration and maintenance of web hosting environments

The ideal candidate will be curious and passionate about web systems, and eager to begin a career as a Web Developer. You will be confident in your understanding of front end development, LAMP stack environments, and Internet technologies, and able to communicate effectively with the rest of the team. This is a fantastic role to make use of your great technical abilities as well as your pro-active and friendly attitude.
